Common Amana Dryer Problems
- Cycle ends too soon. Amana says the load may not be touching the sensor strips, so level the dryer and use Timed Dry or a different dryness level for very small loads. Source: Amana - Electronic Dryer Use and Care Guide
- Dryer not heating. Amana says to check both 30-amp breakers and the 240-volt supply on electric models, or that the gas shutoff valve is open on gas models, and make sure an air-only cycle isn't selected. Source: Amana Product Help - Dryer is Not Heating
