What Weslaco Owners Should Know
Most dryer calls in Weslaco come down to the same handful of parts: the vent and lint path, the heat source, the belt and rollers, and the door and start switches.
Texas has no separate appliance repair license; under the Plumbing License Law, appliance dealers and their employees may install and service appliances (other than water heaters) without a plumbing license when hooking up to existing openings with a code-approved appliance connector, while other gas or water piping work generally requires a plumbing license. Source: Plumbing License Law, Tex. Occ. Code ch. 1301, §1301.053 (Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners)
In Texas, you can check a license with the Texas plumbing Public License Search or report a problem to the Texas Attorney General, Consumer Protection Division.
