What Speed Queen Says to Check First
- Clothes not drying well. Speed Queen points first to the exhaust and weather hood and the lint filter, then to the dryness or time setting and separating heavy items from light ones. Source: Speed Queen (Alliance Laundry Systems) - User's Guide for Dryers
- Dryer not heating. Speed Queen says to check both fuses or breakers on electric models, make sure the dryer isn't in cool-down or set to no heat, confirm the gas valves are open on gas models, and look for a kinked or blocked exhaust or stuck hood flapper.
